Mercenaries of the Queen is a fun, social guild meant to facilitate guild members helping each other increase their enjoyment of the game. The following guidelines are intended to ensure that everyone in our guild understands.

  • Don't be a dick (Wheaton's Law) This includes, but is not limited to: No bullying, no harassment, and no hate speech. For the purposes of guild discipline, bullying will be defined as the continuation of any behaviour after the subject of that behaviour has asked you to stop. No means no - even in video games.

  • Don't be quick to take offense.

  • Have fun.

Guild Bank

The Guild Bank is open to all members who have been in the guild for a while and demonstrated that they aren't dicks, refer to first rule. While we would love to simply trust everyone, some negative experiences have required us to be less trusting. The Guild Bank operates under the following guidelines:

  • Please do not directly profit off of the guild bank.

  • The guild bank is a shared resource. If you deposit something there, or expect something to be there, do not get upset that it has been used.

  • Stackable Items only. There are exceptions to this guideline, but in order to keep the bank useable by all, please avoid putting too many weapons, recipes, motifs or other non-stackable items in the bank. This is what the guild store is for. The guild officers reserve the right to move non-stackable items from the bank to the store if they remain in the bank for any significant period of time.

  • The Guild Bank is intended as a shared resource to help us keep common but necessary items out of our personal bags and banks. These items include:

Racial Motif Ores

Trait gems

Alchemy ingredients (at the time this document was written, most alchemy ingredients were selling for between 50g and 100g. Don't expect to see very many of these in the guild bank.)

Fishing bait

  • Common provisioning ingredients. Some provisioning ingredients are extremely common and easy to find, while others are not. We recommend that you do not deposit broths or stocks unless you have advanced beyond their level. Some items are very rare in the game, and can be sold for significant profit: salt, pepper, tomatoes, onions and red wheat are just some examples. Don't be surprised if you deposit these items in the bank and they disappear quickly.

  • Please give back. If everyone uses the bank in the way envisioned, there will always be more than enough basic crafting materials available for everyone. If everyone puts their motif ores, trait gems, etc. in the bank, there will always be more than enough to facilitate everyone's crafting needs. When you progress past a material, please consider giving your excess to the guild bank for those members levelling behind you.

  • Do not deposit vendor bait.

  • The guild officers clean the bank on a regular basis. We will move full stacks of refined cloth/leather/metal to the guild store listed at 500g each. Profit will be used to benefit the guild.

Guild Store

The Guild store is intended to help our fellow guild members with crafting and levelling while ensuring that we receive some benefit for our grinding efforts.

  • Please price reasonably. This is not intended as a trading guild store. If you are looking to make a significant profit off your item, please use a trade guild. Some recommended pricing guidelines (If you are reluctant to list your item for the price below, then you probably should post it in a trade guild store instead):

White deconstruction items/recipes/jewellery - twice vendor price

Green deconstruction items/recipes/jewellery - three times vendor price

Blue deconstruction items/recipes/jewellery - four times vendor price

Purple and higher - you should probably list somewhere else.

FULL Stacks of cloth/leather/metal - 500g

Glyphs for deconstruction - 60g White, 150g Green, 300g Blue. Purple Glyhps are up to the individual remembering that MotQ Guildies look after each other.

  • No vendor bait or fishing bait.

  • No base crafting items that are generally available in the guild bank: motif ores, trait gems, etc.

  • Please try to post reasonably sized stacks of stackable items:

Full stacks of commonly found cloth/leather/metal only. No partial stacks please.

At least stacks of 10 of the tannins (hemming, pitch, dwarven oil, etc.)

While the Bank and Store are here to use, please ensure all rules are followed. If you are wanting to make a profit for your item, please list elsewhere in a trading guild. Offers within MotQ are most welcome in the chat channel, however please be considerate and make the best deal to help each other out.
